About the event

 

A visual duo drama about love across borders in Swedish, Arabic and English.

An Egyptian / Swedish collaboration in a concert performance, addresses current issues in a Romeo and Juliet story. With different musical expressions, the worlds abstract in and out of each other. We want to explore the balance between two cultural worlds.

 

Actor and singer Mohamed Ismail from Cairo together with the singer, performance artist and composer Agnes Kofoed Christianson from Sweden have jointly explored the theme through scenic and musical expressions from Egypt and Sweden.
