About the event

Do you need a break from everyday expectations, stress and turmoil? Do you want to find your way back to your core?

Then join us on a journey away from the noise of the city and the worries and out to the calm of the sea.

We will be walking alone together via a poetic audiowalk based on the author Anne Morrow Lindbergh's book "The gift from the sea".

Maybe everything around you is part of a completed choreography?

"Havet er her stadig" (The sea is still here) is a walking performance from the urban spaces to an encounter with nature taking place at three different locations in Copenhagen during the summer.

Performers: Sara Skei Fostvedt, Laura Hagen Aagard, Amalie Ulla Pontoppidan Witt, Line Weien Hoffmann and Ingrid Dam.

Text: Anne Sofie Thomsen & Sara Skei Fostvedt, and excerpt from "The Gift from the Sea" by Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Photo & film: Niels Vogensen Biasevich

PR consultant: Kent Tonsgaard Nordentoft Pedersen

The performance was created by Teater PRAXIS

Havet er her stadig was previously set up as "DETOX 1" in Sydhavnen 2017 through the project ST:ART.
