CPH STAGE - MY ROOM

My Room (Mit Rum) is a jarring, soulful self-portrait as well as a physical and poetic performance. Dancer and actress Tilde Knudsen was a strange child! She has been driven all her life by a relentless desire to explore the world with her body and her mind. In this solo performance we come eye to eye with her universe, where she considers together with the audience, herself and her lifetime with vision and insight.

Tilde is dancing with shadows, hiding in the light, remembering, forgetting, decomposing herself, putting herself together, feeling through her body and her mind. She surprises us, frightens us and rejoice us - and let us be part of it all.

My Room is a unique opportunity to gain insight into an artist's life, work and character.

We will not only learn about Tilde, but also learn more about ourselves and each other.
